Can I benefit from the alteration service?
An alteration service is available in our stores for items purchased from any of the Brunschwig group's brands (Bongénie, Bongénie online, Max Mara Switzerland, Bongénie Sport, Buzzano).
Depending on their status, BG Club members can benefit from free alterations on certain non-discounted items. Items purchased on the Bongénie Outlet website are not eligible for free alterations.
BG Club members with Silver or Gold status benefit from free simple or complex alterations on new, non-discounted items.
To benefit from free alterations, items must be new, unworn, with the tags still attached and accompanied by the Bongénie receipt or invoice. Alterations must be requested within one month of the date of purchase.
Items purchased from other retailers cannot be accepted by our workshops.
The simple alterations listed below are offered to all BG Club members upon registration.
Jeans/Trousers
- Shorten a simple hem
- Shorten a hem with a turn-up and slit
- Shorten a hem with lining
- Shorten jeans with original bottom
- Shorten jeans with a ‘sandwich’ hem
- Shorten a wide-leg hem
- Lengthen with a false hem extension
Leather trousers
- Cut hem cleanly (without a hem)
- Shorten hem (glued or machine-stitched hem)
Any other type of alteration is considered a complex alteration or transformation, as assessed by the workshop.
